These Terms & Conditions govern Your participation in Third Party & Supply Chain Cyber Security (“the Event”) organised by GIA Global Group s.r.o. (“Organiser”, “We”) which is registered in Czechia on the following address Karlovo náměstí 317/5, Nové Město (Praha 2), 120 00, Prague, under the following ID number 6437770. By registering for the Event, You agree to and accept these Terms & Conditions which form a binding legal contract between the Organiser and the registered attendee (“You”, “Your(s)” or “Attendee”).
Once You submit your registration, We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received it. After a quick review We will send You a welcome email with important further instructions on how to join and use the Event virtual platform. It is Your responsibility to ensure that the email address that You provide during the registration is correct.
Registration credentials (login/passwords) cannot be forwarded to third parties. Doing so may hinder your own access, as the Event entry is by prior registration only.
All rights in all presentations, materials and documentation published or otherwise made available as part of the Event (including the Event name, logo exhibitor, sponsor and attendees’ lists) (“Content”) are owned by the Organiser, or are included with the permission of the owner of the rights. No photography, filming or recording; or republication, broadcast or other dissemination of the Content is permitted. You shall not distribute, reproduce, modify, store, transfer or in any other way use any of the Content except the use by the relevant Attendee for internal business purposes or the prior written consent of the Organiser.
The Organiser is not responsible for the Content of any speaker’s presentation; such Content is the opinion of the speaker and not of the Organiser.
The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme without notice and to change the location or the date of the Event or confirmed speakers.
If the Organiser is delayed, hindered or prevented from hosting the Event as a result of a force majeure (which means any act, event, omission or accident beyond its control reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes (save for its own workforce), lock-outs, failure of a utility service or telecommunications network, software failure, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, accident, government and / or local authority restraints, regulations or orders, fire, flood, or storm) the Organiser may postpone the Event. In this case Your registration will be rolled over to the rescheduled Event.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Organiser, its employees and affiliates from all damages, liabilities and expenses (and all legal costs including reasonable lawyers fees, court costs, expenses and settlements resulting from any action or claim) arising out of, connected with or resulting in any way from any act or omissions by You or Your negligence during your attendance and participation in the Event or otherwise in relation to the Event.
The Event is delivered over the internet, and accordingly, is subject to limitations, delays, and other problems inherent in the use of the internet and electronic communications. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any delays, delivery failures, viruses, hacker intrusions or other damage resulting from such problems.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser’s aggregate liability to You, whether such liability arises in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any damages, loss, costs, claims or expenses of any kind howsoever arising, out of or in connection with the Event registration (or requested Event registration) made by You or otherwise in relation to the Event, shall be limited to the amount of the Attendee’s paid registration fee.
The Organiser will not be liable under contract, tort or for breach of statutory duty or otherwise with reference to any matter arising directly or indirectly out of or related to the Event registration (or requested Event registration) made by an Attendee or otherwise in relation to the Event, for any indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive loss, damage or liability or for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of use, loss of data and loss of reputation.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall limit or exclude the Organiser’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.
By registering for the Event, Your registration details will be available to the Organiser and its affiliates to deliver the Event as well as to contact You with information about similar events and services in accordance with the Organiser’s Privacy Policy.
We forbid the participation at the Event to individuals age 18 and below, without the consent of a parent or guardian over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions. Any such changes will be displayed on the Event’s website.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by Czech law.
